2 Chron 7:12-14 Then the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: "I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

There is power in unity. When the early church was "in one accord" in the upper room on Pentecost God's Spirit moved. When the musicians and singers were "as one" at the dedication of the temple in Jerusalem God's Spirit moved. There is something about God's people being unified for a righteous cause that causes God's Spirit to move in their behalf. For those who feel they live in immoral and Godless countries there is an answer. The answer is not a matter of politics or revolution. It's not a matter of armies or strength, instead it is a matter of repentence, prayer and Christ's body unified. I believe God's Spirit stands ready to move on behalf of His people. We need only humble ourselves and pray.
